THE MORNING OF PLOTS AND DIVINE INTERVENTION

"When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death. And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate, the governor." — Matthew 27:1-2 (NKJV)

The enemy always operates on a schedule. He plots in secret, strategizes in darkness, and waits for the perfect moment to strike. Yet, even in the enemy’s perfect timing, God’s divine plan prevails. The morning may seem like the hour of victory for the wicked, but it is often the moment when God’s justice begins to unfold.

The Enemy’s Timing vs. God’s Timing

The chief priests and elders chose the morning to execute their plan because the beginning of the day gave them time to ensure their schemes succeeded. They assumed that with careful planning, Jesus would be destroyed before anyone could intervene. But God’s timing is not human timing.

Even when the enemy plots against your life, there is a divine hand that redirects the plan. Just as the plot against Jesus could not override His destiny, no plot against your life can succeed when God protects you.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." — John 10:10

Divine Intervention: God Moves on Behalf of His Children

Despite the plots, Jesus’ body was secured by Joseph of Arimathea, a man of wealth and courage, who dared to approach Pilate to demand a proper burial. The enemy’s plan to disgrace and harm the innocent was thwarted by God’s divine intervention.

This shows us that:

1. Even when it seems no human can help, God raises someone to intervene.

2. The wicked may plot, but they cannot succeed against those covered by the blood of Jesus.

3. Divine timing always surpasses the enemy’s planning.

Reflection: The Morning Hours of Your Life

• Be aware of spiritual mornings—the times when unseen forces plan against you.

• Recognize that God’s angels are stationed to intercept evil before it manifests.

• Trust in God’s sovereignty; He can turn what was meant for evil into blessings for your life.

Prayer Points: Protection Against Secret Plots

1. O Lord, expose every secret plot of the enemy against me and my household, in Jesus’ name.

2. Let every plan formed in the morning to harm me backfire, in Jesus’ name.

3. Raise divine intercessors and helpers on my behalf, just as Joseph of Arimathea intervened for Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let every scheme of the wicked designed to disgrace me be destroyed, in Jesus’ name.

Practical Application: Recognize God’s Hand

1. Pray daily for discernment to detect hidden dangers and spiritual attacks.

2. Speak God’s Word over your mornings: declare protection, peace, and divine favor.

3. Trust God to send divine helpers when situations seem impossible to handle.

  Declaration of Victory:

"Even if the enemy plots against me in secret, I shall not be moved. The Lord is my defender. The plans of the wicked shall return upon their own heads. Divine intervention will protect me, and my life shall glorify the Lord. The grave will not be ready for me, for I am covered by the blood of Jesus!"
