THEN THE DEVIL COMES

 "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word of God out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. (Lk 8:11-12) NKJV 

You can see how wicked the devil is, the word of God which is the seed that will grow and give people life, that is what he came to steal. The word of God that people will hear and healing will come, that is what the devil came to snatch way, because he doesn't want the seed which, Christ the sower has implanted in them to germinate. 

For the devil knew that when the word germinates, a lot of good things will start happening in that person's life, things that will bring great salvation in that person's life will begin to manifest. Because Jesus said "then the devil comes and takes away the word of God out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved" 

It is that your salvation that the devil is just after and, nothing more. He makes sure he gets it if you permit it because he doesn't want you to be saved, he wants you to be in bondage, so that, he can be able to manipulate your mind very well. So when he sees anything good that will come and save you from that bondage, he comes quickly, I mean very quickly to snatch it away from you. Then, that good seed or thing will not have any chance to grow or germinate and bring salvation to you.

In Jn 14 vs 1, Jesus said "Let not your heart be in troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. The devil extremely knows that, once you believed in God and believed also in Jesus Christ, you will not be his instrument of destruction, you be an instrument of God and God will use you to deliver nations, the devil has kept in bondage, that is the reason why once you hear the word of God, he comes and takes it away for you to be his slave to destroy and later send you to hell.

And these days, he comes with different tactics to snatch the word of God from you! social media is His number instrument, the time you will use to study the word of God and believe in it, that is the time, he projects social media to your mind and before you flip and glance from one social media to the other, you are tired or you totally forgot, that you intended to study the word of God.

Another means is through unbelieve, doubt, worries of life, and so on. So many things are in the world today that the devil uses to snatch the word of God from people. Gaming is another full story of its own. But I pray, that God will deliver us from the weapon that the devil uses to snatch the word of God from us in Jesus' name.

Prayer Points

1. O God suspends the satanic powers coming to steal and snatch your word from my heart.

2. Every spirit of unbelieve that, the devil has projected in my mind to destroy me. Be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus.

3. Objects that the devil is using to snatch the word of God from me be eliminated by fire.

4. The seed of the word of God must grow in my life.

5. I cover my heart with the blood of Jesus so that when I hear the word of God that will save me, the devil will not steal it from my heart.
